Idea examples from Energy2B Students
From paper receipts to E-receipts
By Michael Harris from Sheffield University
The principle of my idea is to primarily to save the environment. This idea is E-receipts. Thinking of how many businesses use receipts and also how much paper this accumulates to over the numerous businesses in the world, from clothes shops to restaurants. Now think of the number of people whose banks have the information to text mobile phones. Why can't these two resources be linked. If a person should choose to link their phone to instant receipts through use on a certain card. Why would there be a need for paper receipts?
